About The Position
The School-Age Childcare Assistant works in an after-school program at Taconic Elementary School in Manchester Center, Vermont. The program provides a fun, welcoming space for children and follows the public school calendar. The position is scheduled from 2:40 to 5:30 PM on school days for the 2026–2027 school year. The assistant helps children build friendships through games and activities and serves as a positive influence during their afternoons. The role is part-time and pays $16.00 to $17.50 per hour, with payday every other Friday.
Requirements
- Enjoy working with school-age children.
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Be comfortable working in a structured school setting.
