About The Position

The School Age Child Care Assistant supports a before- or after-school daycare program in Northampton, Pennsylvania. The role involves helping children learn and participate in activities, snack time, and homework, while assisting the site director with daily program functions. The position is part-time and hourly during the 2026–2027 school year, with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m.–9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m. The location will be discussed during the interview.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have at least 2 years of experience working with children.
• Have a high school diploma or some college credits.
• Have at least 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience in a child care setting.
• Be passionate about working with children in a fun, diverse environment.
• Be able to pass all relevant clearances.
