About The Position

The Scheduling Manager oversees the new construction division’s scheduling team and execution of production build strategies, task assignments, progress tracking, labor assignments, and schedule development. The role develops and manages Integrated Master Schedule activities for new vessel construction at Bollinger Louisiana shipyards, oversees team members and schedule projects for new construction vessels, and maintains reporting tools for performance and manning.

Requirements

• Three to five years of progressive experience leading a team.
• Project experience using the Primavera P6 scheduling toolset.
• Well-organized, with directly applicable experience in resource planning and scheduling.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Superior problem-solving ability to minimize cost and schedule delays.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and handle large volumes of work.
• Knowledge of shipbuilding processes, toolsets, and module construction processes.
• Knowledge of Material Requirements Planning and Just-In-Time material scheduling.

Nice To Haves

• Seven years of shipyard scheduling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) activities for new vessel construction at Bollinger Louisiana shipyards.
• Manage team members and IMS projects for all new construction vessels.
• Establish schedule baselines and ensure control mechanisms are in place to monitor performance.
• Confer with department supervisors to determine the status of assigned projects.
• Notify management of situations that may affect project schedules.
• Review overall project status with program managers and operations management.
• Develop schedule reports for distribution to program and production management.
• Liaise with other departments at meetings relevant to project operations and ensure time and cost plans reflect the latest information.
• Provide and maintain appropriate reporting for management.
