About The Position

Seniors Helpers is currently accepting applications for a full-time Scheduling Coordinator. The Scheduling Coordinator will be responsible for selecting, scheduling, and coordinating caregivers based on assessment and care plan information for new and existing clients, while maintaining appropriate gross profit margins. This role also involves managing all caregiver scheduling, responding to scheduling conflicts and emergencies, and ensuring the schedule is complete for the next business day/weekend before leaving for the day. Additional duties may include assisting with updating caregiver files, tracking expirations of licenses and insurance, collecting new documents, auditing timecards, and inputting applicant and employee information into the Information System. The position also oversees recruiting, interviewing, testing, selection, placement, and orientation of new personnel, and represents the company at job fairs and other community events. On-call after-hours telephone rotation, including weekends and holidays, is also part of the responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one year in a staffing/recruiting position.
  • Professional experience in the field of customer service.
  • Knowledge of general healthcare staffing requirements.
  • Team player, excellent verbal and communication skills, adaptable in different situations, possesses excellent client interaction skills, able to multi-task and work independently.
  • Must have experience using telephones with multiple lines, multi-task on several calls and maintain professionalism and patience with a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Must pass a criminal history background check.
  • Ability to Relocate to Milford, MA 01757 before starting work (Required)

Responsibilities

  • Select, schedule, and coordinate caregivers based on assessment and care plan information for new and existing clients.
  • Maintain appropriate gross profit margin for each case.
  • Maintain all scheduling of caregivers and respond to situations where scheduling conflicts, emergencies and/or “call-outs” arise.
  • Ensure company schedule is complete for the next business day/weekend before leaving for the day.
  • Assist in keeping caregiver files up to date, including tracking expirations of any licensing, insurance, etc.
  • Collect new documents as directed, and notify CM when new documents cannot be obtained.
  • Audit timecards on a regular basis to ensure hours match scheduled hours.
  • Input complete applicant and employee information into Information System and maintain compliant personnel files.
  • Oversee recruiting, interviewing, testing, selection, placement and orientation of all new personnel.
  • Represent company at internal and external job fairs, college campuses, personnel agencies, business professional groups, and other locations throughout the community.
  • Participate in on-call after hours telephone rotation, including weekends and holidays.
