About The Position

Coastal Medical Transportation Systems is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to help ensure field staff schedules support patient service. The role maintains schedules for all levels of service, manages schedule changes and time-off, and coordinates onboarding schedules and training shifts for new team members. This is a primarily remote, full-time position requiring 40 hours per week. Start and end times may vary, and the role includes rotating on-call weekend shifts and the ability to travel to the Quincy location monthly. Annual compensation is $70,000 to $80,000, based on experience and qualifications.

Requirements

College degree or equivalent work experience.
Excellent communication, computer, math, and organizational skills.
Collaborative working style.

Nice To Haves

One to two years in a healthcare scheduling position; EMS experience is strongly preferred.
Working knowledge of ESO Scheduling and Smartsheet.
G-Suite knowledge.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage daily field staff schedules for all levels of service, including assigning shifts to Paramedics, EMTs, Chair Car Drivers, and Non-Traditional Field staff as needed.
Manage daily schedule changes, including absenteeism, tardiness, vacations, and shift swaps.
Track and record employee absenteeism.
Proactively coordinate time-off needs.
Review timecards and reconcile discrepancies.
Manage onboarding requirements for new team members, including coordinating schedules and training shifts.
Perform other duties as assigned.
