About The Position

University Diagnostics is seeking a motivated, compassionate, and detail-oriented Scheduler for its outpatient imaging center at the Hall of Fame location in Knoxville, Tennessee. The Patient Coordinator / Scheduler supports the center’s daily operations and patient service by coordinating imaging appointments, handling a high volume of incoming calls, and helping ensure a positive patient experience. The position is full-time, with a Monday–Friday schedule between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM. The role offers a career path from Scheduler I to Scheduler II, Business Office Supervisor, and Business Office Manager. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to work independently and multitask.
Ability to provide documentation accurately and concisely.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
Knowledge of computer applications and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Answer a high volume of incoming calls professionally and courteously.
Schedule and coordinate patient imaging appointments.
Assist patients with appointment inquiries, scheduling changes, and general questions.
Maintain accurate patient information and medical records.
Communicate effectively with patients, referring physician offices, and internal team members.
Provide excellent customer service while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Support daily business office operations as needed.
