About The Position
Our Internal Medicine practice is looking for a Full-time experienced Medical Scheduler with great communication skills while being a swift typist. You will be helping answer phone calls out of our Clinton Twp location in a call center type setting. Athena experience is a bonus but not required. Pay range: $18-20/hour an hour based on experience.
Requirements
- Great customer service skills
- Experience with computerized scheduling systems
- Experience dealing with heavy call volume
- At least 2 years of customer service experience or medical front desk receptionist experience
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to express thoughts clearly and concisely
- Ability to listen, read and interpret information quickly, in both written and oral form
- Swift typist

- Athena experience
Responsibilities
- Communicating with patients, referring physician offices, insurance companies and other staff to accurately and professionally schedule appointments.
- May perform other general office duties as needed and/or assigned.
