About The Position

Provides indirect care in the outpatient/surgery area under the supervision of an RN. Communicates with physicians, RN's, managers and co-workers related to scheduling needs, status and changes. Maintains regulatory body requirements, policies and procedures and participates in performance improvement activities.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least two (2) previous years of related healthcare experience specifically with surgical or procedural scheduling.
• Understanding of Medical Terminology and clinical documentation which must be demonstrated through prior education or work history.
• Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.

Nice To Haves

• Additional languages preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• EMR experience is preferred.
