About The Position

The Nursing Schedule Coordinator/Central Supply Clerk is a key team member that is responsible for the overall assurances of appropriate staffing levels are met at all times, assuring the staff have the necessary equipment and supplies to care for our residents. The Central Supply Clerk is responsible for ordering, re-ordering, stocking, delivering and maintaining inventory.

Requirements

Successful completion of a state approved training program in medication administration.
Indiana QMA license.
Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to our residents, family members, customers and staff.

Responsibilities

Assures appropriate staffing levels are met at all times.
Ensures staff have the necessary equipment and supplies to care for residents.
Orders, re-orders, stocks, delivers, and maintains inventory of supplies.
Creates comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents and team members.
Creates staffing schedules that ensures the provision of quality nursing care.
Coordinates with the Executive Director and the Director of Nursing to advise and communicate staffing schedules and needs.
Ensures compliance with appropriate budgetary, State and Federal guidelines.
Works towards a common goal of excellent care for residents.
Ensures quick, equitable and courteous scheduling patterns and resolutions.
