About The Position

As a Scanner, you process customer transactions for goods and services while providing superior customer service. You perform assigned responsibilities with a sense of ownership and a team approach. The role is based in a fast-paced retail environment and involves precise tasks, customer interaction, and compliance with food-safety and sanitation expectations. Responsibilities

• Scan customer items and handle financial transactions.
• Package groceries.
• Provide superior customer service and look for ways to exceed customer expectations.
• Answer product-related questions and offer additional or alternative products and services.
• Instruct customers in the use of the cash machine for cash tender.
• Comply with company food-safety and sanitation expectations.
• Participate with a total-store mindset.
• Perform other duties within the job scope as needed, including returns, parking-lot tasks, cleaning registers, and front-end merchandising.
