About The Position

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells the items individually to the public through online auctions. The Scan Team uses proprietary software to scan and upload product information into the auction portal accurately. The Scanner Associate reports to the Scan Team Lead. This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position performed on-site. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with 8-hour shifts and a 30-minute lunch break; hours are determined by workload and management.

Requirements

• Availability to work on-site.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone and 50 pounds with a team lift.
• Comfort with web- and browser-based software, such as Google and Amazon.
• Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time.
• Must be tech-savvy.
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scan items quickly and thoroughly into the system to create online auction listings.
• Search for products online.
• Screenshot and crop photos for online listings.
• Correct and complete information for each item.
• Meet quantity and quality goals.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
