About The Position

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products and sells the items individually to the public through online auctions. The Scan Team uses proprietary software to scan and upload product information into the auction portal accurately. The Scanner Associate reports to the Scan Team Lead. This is an on-site, full-time hourly non-exempt position, scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with 8-hour shifts and a 30-minute lunch break.

Requirements

• Availability to work on-site Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with 8-hour shifts and a 30-minute lunch break.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds alone and 50 pounds with a team lift.
• Comfort using web- and browser-based software, such as Google and Amazon.
• Ability to stand and walk for hours at a time.
• Tech-savvy.
• Ability to follow written directions and company policies.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scan items quickly and thoroughly into the system to create online auction listings.
• Search for products online.
• Take screenshots and crop photos for online listings.
• Correct and complete information for each item.
• Meet quantity and quality goals.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
