About The Position
MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products and sells the items individually to the public through online auctions. The Scan Team uses proprietary software to scan and upload product information into the auction portal accurately. The Scanner Associate scans items and creates online auction listings, researches products online, prepares listing photos, and ensures item information is complete and correct. The position is full-time, hourly, and non-exempt, and reports to the Scan Team Lead.
Requirements
- Availability to work on-site from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday; schedules may vary by location and workload, with hours determined by management.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds alone and 50 pounds with a team lift.
- Comfort with web and browser-based software, such as Google and Amazon.
- Ability to stand and walk for hours at a time.
- Tech-savvy.
- Ability to follow written directions and company policies.

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities
- Scan items quickly and thoroughly into the system to create online auction listings.
- Search for products online.
- Screenshot and crop photos for online listings.
- Correct and complete information for each item.
- Meet quantity and quality goals.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
