About The Position

The Scan Coordinator maintains overall price integrity in the store. The role involves conducting regular price changes, verifying promotional pricing and signage, and supporting compliance with company and government regulations. The position requires working quickly and accurately in a fast-paced retail environment and interacting positively with customers, employees, and vendors.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent, and 1–3 months of related experience and/or training, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
Strong analytical and organizational skills to analyze total scanning programs and maintain necessary reports and schedules.
Ability to understand and effectively use billing and accounting principles and processes.
Excellent mathematical skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Outgoing, friendly behavior, a positive attitude, and ability to interact with customers, employees, and vendors.
Ability to work varied hours and days as business dictates.
Ability to read price tags, create and post signs and price tags, staple, scan, use a computer to activate new pricing, and use a step ladder; good vision is required to read and set signs.
Ability to vertically and horizontally transfer boxes weighing up to 17 lbs. from 1 to 34 inches, up to 8 feet, for up to 1 hour.
Ability to walk up to 4 miles per 8-hour period.
Ability to repetitively crouch, kneel, or squat to access a point 6 inches from the ground for up to 50 hours.

Responsibilities

Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly price changes, including changing shelf signs, tags, and promotional signs.
Verify weekly ad price changes, promotional price accuracy, and pricing signage in all departments.
Ensure compliance with company and governmental compliance regulations.
Work quickly and accurately to support pricing integrity in the store.
Maintain necessary reports and schedules related to scanning programs.
