About The Position

The Scan Coordinator at Sprouts Farmers Market maintains overall price integrity in the store. The role involves carrying out price changes and checking promotional pricing and signage across departments. The coordinator works quickly and accurately in a fast-paced retail environment while supporting positive customer shopping experiences and compliance with company and governmental regulations.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–3 months of related experience and/or training, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
Have strong analytical and organizational skills to analyze total scanning programs and maintain necessary reports and schedules.
Understand and effectively use billing and accounting principles and processes.
Possess excellent mathematical skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Demonstrate outgoing, friendly behavior, a positive attitude, and the ability to interact with customers, employees, and vendors.
Be able to work varied hours and days as business dictates.
Be able to read price tags, create signs, and post price tags and signs; good vision is required to read and set signs.
Be able to staple, scan, use a computer to activate new pricing, and use a step ladder.
Be able to vertically and horizontally transfer boxes weighing up to 17 pounds from 1 inch to 34 inches, up to 8 feet, for up to 1 hour.
Be able to walk up to 4 miles per 8-hour period.
Be able to perform repetitive crouching, kneeling, and squatting to access a point 6 inches from the ground for up to 50 hours.

Responsibilities

Maintain overall price integrity in the store.
Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly price changes, including changing shelf signs, tags, and promotional signs.
Verify weekly ad price changes, promotional price accuracy, and pricing signage in all departments.
Ensure compliance with company and governmental compliance regulations.
Work quickly and accurately to support pricing integrity in the store.
