About The Position

The Scan Coordinator at Sprouts Farmers Market is responsible for maintaining overall price integrity in the store. The role involves processing price changes and ensuring that weekly advertisements, promotional pricing, and signage are accurate across all departments. The coordinator must work quickly and accurately, support compliance with company and government regulations, and contribute to a positive shopping experience in a fast-paced retail environment.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–3 months of related experience and/or training, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
Have strong analytical and organizational skills to analyze total scanning programs and maintain necessary reports and schedules.
Understand and effectively use billing and accounting principles and processes.
Possess excellent mathematical skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Demonstrate outgoing, friendly behavior, a positive attitude, and the ability to interact with customers, employees, and vendors.
Be able to work varied hours and days as business dictates.
Be able to read price tags, create and post signs and price tags, staple, scan, use a computer to activate new pricing, and use a step ladder; good vision is required.
Be able to vertically and horizontally transfer boxes weighing up to 17 pounds from 1 inch to 34 inches, up to 8 feet, for up to 1 hour.
Be able to walk up to 4 miles per 8 hours.
Be able to perform repetitive crouching, kneeling, and squatting to access a point 6 inches from the ground for up to 50 hours.

Responsibilities

Maintain overall price integrity in the store.
Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly price changes, including changing shelf signs, tags, and promotional signs.
Verify weekly ad price changes, promotional price accuracy, and pricing signage in all departments.
Ensure compliance with company and governmental compliance regulations.
Work quickly and accurately to support store pricing integrity.
Maintain necessary reports and schedules related to scanning programs.
