About The Position

The Scale Operator maintains a clean and orderly work area and equipment, follows safety regulations, and operates production equipment according to established procedures and guidelines. The role participates in CMC Safety Programs and proactively supports the company’s safety culture. Other tasks may be assigned by the supervisor. CMC offers training and advancement opportunities and supports employees in developing their careers.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Previous experience operating a forklift, skid steer, loader, or similar equipment.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a recycling and/or manufacturing environment.
• Prior knowledge of metal identification.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
