About The Position

The Scale Operator works in CMC’s recycling, manufacturing, or related operations environment. The role involves maintaining a clean and orderly work area and equipment, following safety regulations, and operating production equipment according to established procedures and guidelines. The position participates in CMC Safety Programs and proactively supports the company’s safety culture. Other tasks may be assigned by the supervisor. CMC describes the position as an opportunity to learn about the steel, construction reinforcement, and ground stabilization industries, with team training and support intended to help employees develop and advance. Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work in all weather conditions.
Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment, with strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
Previous experience operating a forklift, skid steer, loader, or similar equipment.

Nice To Haves

Minimum 1 year of experience in a recycling and/or manufacturing environment is preferred.
Prior knowledge of metal identification is a plus.
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is preferred.

Responsibilities
