About The Position

The Scale Operator works in a recycling or manufacturing environment, operating production equipment according to established procedures and guidelines. The role helps maintain a clean and orderly work area and equipment, follows safety regulations, and participates in CMC safety programs. Additional duties may be assigned by the supervisor. CMC provides training and support, along with opportunities for career growth and advancement.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment, with strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Previous experience operating a forklift, skid steer, loader, or similar equipment.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of experience in a recycling and/or manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Prior knowledge of metal identification is a plus.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follow safety regulations.
• Operate production equipment in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
• Participate in CMC Safety Programs and proactively uphold the CMC Safety Culture.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
