About The Position

This position is responsible for weighing trucks as they enter and exit the plant while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The role requires working the 3rd shift, Monday through Friday, from Midnight to 8 AM. The Scale Operator will handle live receiving and must be proficient with computer use and accurate with all weights. The job involves standing and walking for approximately 8 hours, working in various environmental conditions (hot, cold, wet, dry), and wearing a safety vest at times.

Requirements

• Must be able to work with a computer
• Must be accurate with all weights
• Must be able to stand and walk the duration of shift approximately an average of 8 hours
• Must be able to work in a hot, cold, wet, dry environment
• Must wear safety vest at times
• Must have 3 months operator experience
• Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
