About The Position

The Scale House Clerk operates at the Shreveport Mill and MRF, handling load entry and driver check-in, coordinating traffic and dock activity, communicating with the office and site teams, and maintaining the scale house. Responsibilities

Key all loads received into the mill for Recycling/MRF and communicate with drivers.
Monitor cameras to help ensure docks remain full and another truck is waiting to pull in as one leaves.
Log drivers and loads on the Mill and MRF receiving log.
Check in drivers and complete drop tickets for trailers dropped on Lot B.
Manage inbound and outbound traffic flow as effectively as possible.
Communicate by telephone with the Shreveport Office regarding issues such as release numbers and rejections.
Handwrite a docket and notify the MRF when a driver arrives to pick up an outbound load.
Communicate by radio with the Waste Yard and MRF.
Notify shipping when a driver arrives with a chemical load.
Maintain scale house cleanliness and supplies.
