About The Position

The Scale House Clerk purchases vehicles brought in over the truck scale and vehicles purchased through outside buyers. The role handles the legal paperwork required for purchases, pays customers for vehicles and scrap material, and maintains a daily cash/check log. It also involves customer calls to generate business, entering vehicle information, and producing reports. The successful candidate is customer-service oriented, honest, energetic, self-motivated, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. The schedule must be flexible and may include weekends. Applicants must pass a CORI review.

Requirements

• Automotive knowledge, including mechanical parts and body parts (mandatory).
• Typing skills (mandatory).
• Computer skills, including Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.
• Customer-service orientation.
• Honesty, energy, self-motivation, and organization.
• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment.
• Must pass a CORI review.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual ability; Spanish or Portuguese is helpful.
