Sawmill Production Associate (High School Graduate)
About The Position

As a recent High School Graduate in Preston, Georgia, you'll be a part of a team that safely produces high-quality lumber products in a manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on experience for individuals interested in starting a career in the lumber manufacturing industry to gain real-world experience in a sawmill environment while working as part of an operations team. The starting rate for this position is $16.00 per hour.
Requirements
- High School Diploma.
- Strong commitment to safety.
- Reliable attendance and a positive work ethic.
- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
- Able and willing to work in varying seasonal climate conditions.
Responsibilities
- Complete clean-up and ground maintenance of assigned area.
- Assist with keeping a steady flow of lumber throughout the mill.
- Observe and learn basic sawmill processes and safety practices.
