Saw Operator -2nd Shift

About The Position
The Saw Operator sets up, operates, and tends to machines that cut metal according to customer specifications. The role requires accuracy and efficiency when processing materials, verifying dimensions, and operating overhead cranes and forklifts. The position works 2nd shift, 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., with availability to work overtime as needed.
Requirements
- Ability to accurately use standard measuring tools.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to follow instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate saw machines to process metal materials according to customer specifications.
- Ensure accuracy and efficiency in cutting processes.
- Use measuring tools to verify the dimensions of finished workpieces.
- Operate overhead cranes and forklifts as required.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
