About The Position

CTG is seeking an SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI) Functional Consultant for a client engagement in Washington, DC, with a stated duration of 12 months. The consultant will implement, configure, and support SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions aligned with client business requirements. The role involves analyzing business processes and functional requirements, translating business needs into functional designs and system configurations, and contributing to solution design, development, testing, implementation, and deployment. The consultant will integrate SAP Finance solutions with related business processes and technical systems, advise clients on functional solutions, and collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and project members to resolve issues and meet project objectives. The role also applies SAP and industry best practices to improve financial processes and solution quality, while communicating recommendations, designs, and implementation progress to clients and project teams.

Requirements

Hands-on expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI) implementation and configuration.
Strong understanding of financial business processes and SAP Finance functionality.
Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into practical functional solutions.
Experience with SAP solution design, integration, testing, and implementation.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent client-facing communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to develop scalable, maintainable solutions aligned with business objectives.
Demonstrated experience implementing and configuring SAP Finance solutions, preferably in SAP S/4HANA environments.
Experience working directly with clients to gather requirements, assess business processes, and recommend solutions.
Proven ability to support solution development and delivery across design, configuration, testing, and implementation.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional and technical teams to deliver integrated solutions.
Ability to apply business and industry knowledge to resolve complex functional challenges and meet project goals.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with F4U integration, as applicable to the project.
SAP S/4HANA Finance or SAP FI certifications.
