About The Position

Clarkston Consulting is seeking a motivated, self-driven SAP PP Senior Consultant to deliver business solutions for clients in the life sciences, consumer products, and retail industries. The role combines industry expertise, business process knowledge, and consulting skills to address client business challenges. Consultants work from a home office when not at a client site; relocation is not required. Travel averages 30–50%, depending on client and project needs.

The Senior Consultant leads and guides consultants and client personnel through SAP Production Planning implementations. The role includes facilitating analysis and design sessions, translating requirements into solutions, designing and configuring SAP PP functions and integrations, overseeing customized report development, providing technical support and training, and helping scope prospective engagements and develop proposals.

Requirements

• Expertise in SAP PP.
• At least 3 full-life-cycle implementation projects.
• Team lead experience.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work across design, hands-on configuration, and new roles.
• Thorough client-services orientation and experience actively executing engagements and project plans or tasks.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Ability to present and write at publication-quality level to communicate findings and recommendations.
• Four-year degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
• Ability to travel an estimated average of 30–50%, varying with client and project needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide consultants and client personnel implementing SAP PP (Production Planning).
• Lead analysis and design sessions to develop requirements for client solutions.
• Design, develop, and configure SAP PP functions to meet business requirements, including integration points with other modules.
• Manage and oversee the design and development of customized reports.
• Provide general technical support for clients and conduct training as required.
• Assist with scoping prospective engagements and developing proposals.
• Take an active role in executing client engagements and project plans and tasks.
