About The Position

Clarkston Consulting is seeking an SAP PP Senior Consultant to deliver business solutions for clients in the life sciences, consumer products, and retail industries. The role combines industry expertise, business process knowledge, and consulting capabilities to address challenging client business problems. Consultants work from a home office when not at a client site; relocation is not required. Travel is an integral part of the role and is estimated to average 30–50%, depending on client and project needs.

The Senior Consultant leads and guides consultants and client personnel in SAP Production Planning (PP) implementations. The role includes leading requirements analysis and design sessions, designing and configuring SAP PP solutions, managing customized report development, providing technical support and training, and helping scope prospective engagements and develop proposals. The role also offers mentorship and internal and external professional development opportunities.

Requirements

• Expertise in SAP PP.
• At least three full-life-cycle implementation projects.
• Team lead experience.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work across design, hands-on configuration, and new roles.
• Thorough client services orientation and experience actively executing engagements and project plans or tasks.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Ability to present and write at publication-quality level to communicate findings and recommendations.
• Four-year degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide consultants and client personnel implementing SAP PP (Production Planning).
• Lead analysis and design sessions to develop requirements and client solutions.
• Design, develop, and configure SAP PP functions to meet client business requirements, including integration points with other modules.
• Manage and oversee the design and development of customized reports.
• Provide general technical support to clients and conduct training as required.
• Assist with scoping prospective engagements and developing proposals.
• Take an active role in executing client engagements and project plans or tasks.
