SAP NS2 S/4 HANA Project Manager
About The Position
SAP National Security Services (SAP NS2) is seeking a project manager to lead SAP cloud migration and implementation projects for U.S. Federal Government and Department of Defense customers. The role is accountable for delivery against schedule, budget, scope, quality, and contractual commitments, with a focus on customer satisfaction and mission outcomes. The project manager develops and oversees project plans covering schedules, budgets, resources, milestones, deliverables, and contractual requirements. The role establishes project governance, stakeholder communications, executive reporting, and ongoing customer engagement, while managing risks, issues, dependencies, scope changes, and resource constraints. The project manager collaborates with Delivery Executives, Enterprise Architects, and technical teams to advance SAP cloud adoption, Clean Core principles, and AI-enabled initiatives. The role also supports proposals, solution scoping, resource planning, project estimation, and delivery strategy. SAP delivery methodologies and best practices are applied throughout engagements, including implementation and transition to operations. Travel may be up to 50% based on customer requirements; the preferred location is in the East or Central U.S. time zone. U.S. citizenship is required because the position requires access to customer data.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of project management experience delivering complex technology implementations.
- A few years of experience supporting U.S. Federal Government, Department of Defense, or Federal Civilian customers.
- Successful end-to-end delivery of at least two Federal or DoD technology implementation projects.
- Demonstrated experience managing SAP cloud migration and implementation initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of SAP enterprise solutions and hybrid, private, or public cloud environments.
- Expertise in project governance, financial management, risk mitigation, resource coordination, and executive stakeholder engagement.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- PMP certification, or commitment to obtain it within an established timeframe.
- U.S. citizenship.
