SAP EAM Senior Manager
About The Position
Accenture’s SAP practice helps clients meet the challenges of digitization, focused specifically on SAP Enterprise Asset Management (“EAM”). This role involves using expertise to solve clients’ most complex business problems and helping their companies do more. The position requires leadership skills to lead teams and projects, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with senior managers and clients. The ideal candidate is charismatic, professional, and capable of building rapport in business development and project delivery contexts. Flexibility, strong listening skills, and deep domain expertise in EAM are essential.
Requirements
- At least 12 years of experience in delivering SAP projects, including full lifecycle SAP implementations (local and global) encompassing program planning/management, Business Case development, and planning/implementation across various Software Engineering process phases.
- Minimum 8 years of experience with SAP PM and/or Enterprise Asset Management.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project, Large Workstream, or Client Lead on major SAP transformational projects involving both on-shore and off-shore resources.
- Security Secret clearance is required.
- Deep understanding of SAP Standards & Best Practices.
- Comfortable working with various functional SAP experts and business teams.
- Experience working in a Managed Service environment.
- Demonstrates strong leadership skills by effectively managing and guiding team members to achieve project goals.
- Ability to convey decisions and requirements succinctly and appropriately.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels with external and internal parties.
- Bachelor’s degree or completion of a college program in a related discipline.
- English proficiency is required for regular interaction with stakeholders across Canada, the US, and other global locations.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of SAP’s business development process and ability to help clients understand how SAP can benefit their company.
- Expertise in SAP S4 EAM, including experience with asset hierarchy, work management, and overall asset management related to functional and configuration requirements.
- Experience with SAP Field Service Management.
Responsibilities
- Use business acumen to initiate Enterprise Asset Management transformation programs, both domain- and platform-led.
- Demonstrate to clients how they can leverage SAP EAM/IAM to address their business challenges.
- Assist in defining strategies for near-term objectives.
- Collaborate with senior managers at client sites and/or Accenture, engaging in persuasive negotiation or communication on critical issues.
- Utilize judgment to guide critical assignments forward.
- Lead large teams and/or projects at client sites or within Accenture.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to promote professional development, improve team performance, and cultivate a supportive work environment.
- Foster continuous learning and development while promoting accountability and excellence.
