About The Position
The SAP Data Conversion Consultant supports end-to-end data conversion for SAP S/4HANA Greenfield implementations, migrating data from legacy and non-SAP systems. The role requires hands-on techno-functional work with SAP BODS, SAP SLT, SAP Migration Cockpit, HANA SQL, and related migration tools. The consultant works with functional and business teams to establish source-to-target mappings, develop and test migration objects, and ensure accurate, complete, high-quality data loads. The position also involves working through ambiguity, collaborating across teams, and supporting successful migration and broader transformation outcomes.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of SAP data migration experience.
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA Greenfield environments.
- Significant hands-on experience with SAP BODS, SAP SLT, SAP Migration Cockpit, HANA SQL, LSMWs, and IDocs.
- Strong understanding of data migration processes, including pre-load and post-load activities.
- Experience documenting test results and ensuring migration object quality.
- Ability to collaborate with functional and business teams on mapping and validation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Must be eligible to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities
- Lead and execute data migration activities for SAP S/4HANA Greenfield implementations.
- Develop using SAP BODS, SAP SLT, SAP Migration Cockpit, HANA SQL via Eclipse, LSMWs, and IDocs.
- Develop and maintain pre-load and post-load files, validation logic, and reconciliation processes.
- Drive source-to-target mapping discussions with functional and business subject matter experts.
- Build, test, and validate migration objects for accuracy and completeness.
- Document testing processes and ensure migration objects meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with functional, technical, and business teams throughout migration cycles.
- Troubleshoot data issues and provide remediation strategies.
- Adapt to ambiguity and support critical project needs as they arise.
- Contribute to business transformation through data insights and migration execution.
