About The Position

Deloitte is hiring a Consultant for its SAP practice, focused on SAP Finance, to support Agentic ERP transformations. The role works with functional and technical client teams to prototype and deliver solutions using SAP capabilities, Deloitte Ascend™ AI accelerators, and AI-enabled delivery approaches. The position supports clients modernizing business processes and moving toward an autonomous enterprise, with an emphasis on measurable business impact and effective collaboration with senior stakeholders and delivery teams.

The Consultant supports SAP Finance and Controlling workstreams, including planning and tracking activities, identifying dependencies and risks, participating in workshops, translating finance requirements into SAP S/4HANA solutions, and supporting functional design and configuration across FICO areas. The role also contributes to finance integrations, migration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live activities. AI tools are used to accelerate delivery work, with human review and validation of outputs. The position may also support training, change adoption, proposals, and reusable practice assets. Travel may be up to 50% on average. Recruiting for this role ends January 15, 2027.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or an associate degree and at least 4 years of SAP, ERP, or consulting experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
• At least 2 years of experience in SAP consulting, ERP implementation, or SAP/ERP technology transformation in a consulting or industry environment.
• Experience supporting at least one full-lifecycle SAP implementation from project initiation through go-live and hypercare.
• Experience supporting at least one SAP S/4HANA implementation, transformation, or migration program.
• At least 1 year of hands-on SAP FICO functional configuration experience in one or more of the listed finance and controlling areas.
• Experience working directly with client finance stakeholders on requirements gathering, testing, or deployment for at least one SAP implementation, transformation, or support project.
• Ability to travel up to 50% on average, based on client and project needs.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

• Experience applying AI tools—including generative AI, intelligent automation, machine learning, conversational AI, or AI agents—to enterprise transformation work, including solution design, implementation, testing, or human-in-the-loop review and validation.
• Experience supporting or facilitating SAP design workshops, demonstrations, or testing activities.
• Experience supporting SAP cloud programs or SAP transformation programs deployed across multiple countries.
• Experience applying SAP Activate, Agile, or Waterfall methodologies on SAP implementation programs.
• Experience contributing to proposals, estimates, solution designs, or client presentations.
• One or more SAP certifications.

Responsibilities

• Track SAP Finance and Controlling work-plan activities, identify dependencies, risks, and issues, and prepare deliverables.
• Participate in and facilitate portions of opportunity-identification, fit-to-standard, and Agentic ERP solution-design workshops.
• Translate finance requirements into SAP S/4HANA solutions and support functional design and configuration in assigned FICO areas, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, and Profitability Analysis.
• Coordinate finance integration requirements with procurement, sales, supply chain, tax, treasury, and reporting teams.
• Contribute to data migration, testing, defect resolution, cutover, deployment, hypercare, and stabilization activities.
• Use AI tools to accelerate analysis, solution design, prototyping, testing, and documentation, while reviewing, validating, and curating outputs with human oversight.
• Communicate project progress, decisions, risks, and action items to client and Deloitte team members.
• Support training, change adoption, post-go-live activities, proposal development, and reusable SAP practice assets.
