About The Position

JBS USA is hiring general laborers for its Pork Sanitation Division. The role is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing facilities, machinery, and equipment to support efficient production and maintain food safety and product quality. Work takes place in production and maintenance settings and involves exposure to chemicals, machinery, knives, slippery floors, cold temperatures, and loud ambient noise. The position requires hands-on work at a fast pace, use of personal protective equipment, and lifting more than 50 pounds at times. This is a full-time, third-shift position reporting to the Sanitation Supervisor.

• Ability to use personal protective equipment effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and sanitize facilities, including casings, machinery, and equipment, for efficient production.
• Operate heavy equipment.
• Use personal protective equipment effectively.
• Keep work areas clean and follow food safety protocols.
• Follow JBS product specifications to ensure meat quality.
• Stay aware of surroundings and notify a supervisor about hazards.
• Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks with little supervision, including scrubbing walls, floors, tables, and hallways.
• Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
