About The Position

Clemens Food Group is hiring a full-time Sanitation Worker for its food manufacturing facility in Tyrone, Pennsylvania. The role is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the facility to meet safety and regulatory requirements. It is physically demanding and involves working in hot and cold environments, with occasional outdoor work. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 PM to 4:30 AM, with availability for rotating Saturdays. No experience is required; entry-level applicants are welcome. Prior sanitation or food manufacturing experience is preferred but not required. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States. All employees are subject to pre-employment screening, including a background check and drug screen.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 80 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, including hot and cold environments.

Nice To Haves

• Prior sanitation or food manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production equipment, floors, and work areas.
• Operate high-pressure hoses, sanitation tools, and cleaning chemicals.
• Frequently lift and move hoses, equipment, chemical containers, and trash or inedible containers weighing 20–80 pounds throughout each shift.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and food safety protocols.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Assist with janitorial duties as needed.
• Work outdoors occasionally, as required.
