About The Position

The Sanitation Warehouse Associate helps maintain a clean and safe workplace for associates. The role performs general janitorial, cleaning, and sanitation tasks throughout the warehouse, including dry, cooler, and freezer areas, and may perform similar duties in office areas as assigned. The position is scheduled Sunday through Thursday, 6:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m., and pays $17 per hour plus a $1 shift differential.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of general sanitation, cleaning, and/or janitorial work experience.
• Pass a post-offer drug test and criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of general sanitation, cleaning, and/or janitorial work experience in a warehouse environment.
• Pallet jack experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned cleaning and janitorial duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup, and related tasks.
• Follow company health and safety policies and guidelines while completing all work.
• Immediately report unsafe conditions or acts to help protect associates.
• Handle cleaning chemicals according to the applicable hazardous-material safety sheets.
• Complete assigned Pure Safety training modules accurately and on time.
• Operate a pallet jack if required to transport refuse or trash to appropriate receptacles.
• Complete all assignments accurately and on time.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
