About The Position

The Warehouse Associate - Sanitation maintains a clean and safe workplace to support the health and safety of warehouse associates. The role performs general janitorial, cleaning, and sanitation tasks throughout the warehouse, including dry, cooler, and freezer areas, and may perform similar duties in office areas as assigned. Work includes following safety policies, reporting hazards, handling cleaning chemicals according to hazmat material sheets, completing assigned safety training, and potentially using a pallet jack to transport refuse or trash. Pay is $18.50 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday: Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM–3:30 PM; Friday, 6:00 AM–10:00 AM. Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
At least 6 months of general sanitation, cleaning, and/or janitorial work experience.
Pass a post-offer drug test and criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of general sanitation, cleaning, and/or janitorial work experience in a warehouse environment.
Pallet jack experience.

Responsibilities

Complete all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
Immediately report unsafe conditions or acts to help ensure the safety of all associates.
Perform assigned cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup, and related janitorial tasks.
Handle cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.
Complete all assigned Pure Safety training modules accurately and on time.
Operate a pallet jack, if required, to transport refuse or trash to appropriate receptacles.
Complete all assignments accurately and on time.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
