This position is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing work areas and, assembling and disassembling equipment while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The role involves dry pickup, breaking down and setting up equipment, using high-pressure hoses for rinsing, and applying various chemicals for cleaning floors. The Sanitation Operator will visually check areas for cleanliness, work closely with Quality Assurance and USDA, and uphold the principles of SQF 2000. The work schedule may vary depending on production, and various other tasks may be assigned by lead personnel or supervisors. The job requires working in temperatures of 35 degrees Fahrenheit or less for a minimum of 8 hours and involves tasks such as bending, twisting, reaching, standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting up to 50 pounds for extended periods on a concrete floor.
