About The Position

Responsible for setting up equipment in preparation for startup, and responsible for being able to learn and cover all jobs in the department, while also being able to adhere to good safety practices, food safety policies, and company policies. Must be fluent in computer-based programs such as Microsoft Excel and SAP or have the ability to learn. Ability to become certified in Tyson’s Lock Out Tag Out program. Monitor production area for trash and debris on floor. Perform various other tasks as assigned by Lead person, Supervisor or Superintendent. Ability to communicate effectively with company employees and all levels of management. Familiar with the safe operation of production line conveyor equipment. Must be willing and able to work in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees Fahrenheit temperature for minimum of 8 hours. Must be willing and able to pinch/grip product and place into specified location. Must be able to perform the following task for periods of 8 hours on concrete floor, some of which may include but is not limited to bending, twisting, reaching, standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting.

Requirements

  • 6 months continuous employment in the last 18 months
  • Fluent in computer-based programs such as Microsoft Excel and SAP or have the ability to learn
  • Ability to become certified in Tyson’s Lock Out Tag Out program
  • Willing and able to work in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees Fahrenheit for a minimum of 8 hours
  • Willing and able to pinch/grip product and place into specified location
  • Able to perform tasks for periods of 8 hours on concrete floor, including bending, twisting, reaching, standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting
  • Must complete the task after submitting an application to provide additional information to be considered for employment

Nice To Haves

  • At least 6 months of relevant machine operator, warehouse, agricultural or production experience
