Sanitation Associate- 3rd Shift

About The Position

PS Seasoning is seeking a self-motivated, reliable Sanitation Associate to support sanitation at its production facility. The position reports to the Food Safety Manager and is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing production, warehouse, and office areas; maintaining a clean and safe facility; completing daily paperwork; and following food safety and quality programs. The role operates on a third shift schedule of 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., with flexible scheduling and additional weekend hours potentially required.

Requirements

Able to lift up to 60 pounds, bend, stand, and climb.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Able to use hand cleaning tools such as mops, brooms, and brushes.
Able to use power cleaning tools such as vacuums and floor scrubbers.
Able to read and follow instructions and use cleaning chemicals and agents properly.
Able to learn cleaning procedures for industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize the production and warehouse facility.
Clean equipment and work areas using cleaning solutions, hand tools, and other cleaning equipment.
Clean up work areas and remove trash, products, bags, and boxes.
Perform janitorial duties in office areas at both office locations, including sweeping, mopping, and garbage removal.
Pick up trash, empty receptacles, and stock facility restrooms as required.
Complete daily paperwork accurately.
Operate a forklift and skid loader to assist with duties.
Comply with GMP, personal hygiene, HACCP, and other quality and safety programs.
Work a flexible schedule and additional weekend hours as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned by the food safety and quality supervisor.
