About The Position

This position performs a variety of tasks related to cleaning and maintaining food production equipment and surrounding areas, including the Production Floor, Packing Room, Oven Room, Warehouse, and Gift Production areas. The Sanitation Associate helps eliminate potential sources of disease and illness from production equipment and areas while following safety procedures and meeting daily sanitation goals.

The schedule is 8:00 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. Monday through Saturday. Scheduled days include Saturday or Sunday, but not both.

Requirements

• Self-motivated with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Team-oriented.
• Able to work independently or with others.
• Strong time-management skills.
• Mechanical aptitude.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of previous sanitation experience in a factory environment is preferred.
• Previous sanitation experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Achieve daily sanitation goals.
• Maintain equipment used by the Sanitation department.
• Help eliminate potential disease and illness from production equipment, production areas, and surrounding areas.
• Follow safety procedures, report safety issues to the immediate supervisor, and use required safety gear.
• Disassemble, clean, and reassemble machinery.
• Maintain reasonable and reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
