About The Position

PS Seasoning is seeking a self-motivated, reliable Sanitation Associate to support its production facility. The position reports to the Food Safety Manager and is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the production and warehouse facility, equipment, work areas, and office areas. The role also performs basic janitorial work, completes daily paperwork, and operates a forklift and skid loader to assist with duties. The associate must follow GMP, personal hygiene, HACCP, and other quality and safety programs. The stated hours are 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.; additional hours may be required on weekends.

Requirements

Ability to lift up to 60 pounds, bend, stand, and climb.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to use hand cleaning tools such as mops, brooms, and brushes.
Ability to use power cleaning tools such as vacuums and floor scrubbers.
Ability to follow and read instructions and use cleaning chemicals and agents properly.
Ability to learn cleaning procedures for industrial equipment.
Ability to work a flexible schedule; additional hours may be required on weekends.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize the production and warehouse facility daily.
Clean equipment and work areas using and mixing cleaning solutions and hand tools.
Clean work areas and remove trash, including products, bags, and boxes.
Clean office areas as needed, including sweeping, mopping, and garbage removal at both office locations.
Perform basic janitorial services to keep the facility clean and safe, including picking up trash, emptying receptacles, and stocking restrooms as required.
Complete daily paperwork accurately.
Operate a forklift and skid loader to assist with duties.
Comply with GMP, personal hygiene, HACCP, and other quality and safety programs.
Perform other duties as assigned by the food safety and quality supervisor.
