About The Position

The Sanitation Aide maintains kitchen cleanliness and sanitation, operates and maintains the dish machine according to established guidelines, and washes dishes, glasses, pots, and pans in designated areas. The role may also assist with kitchen duties in other areas, including banquet plating when needed. The position pays $26.70 per hour.

Requirements

• Food Handler's Certification.
• High work ethic and self-initiative.
• May be required to work varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Enjoy working as part of a team that provides great experiences for guests.

Responsibilities

• Use established guidelines to operate and maintain the dish machine.
• Wash glasses and dishes in a standard dish rack.
• Wash pots and pans only in the pot washer's area.
• Keep the kitchen neat and clean, including sweeping up broken glass or dishes and mopping spills.
• Empty full and heavy trash cans, spray and sanitize them after each use, and replace the trash bags after cleaning.
• Follow MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) protocols and safety guidelines.
• Perform duties in other kitchen areas as assigned, including assisting with banquet event plating when needed.
