Salon Management Team – SmartStyle Fairbanks
About The Position
SmartStyle Fairbanks is seeking a creative salon leader to manage a busy, full-service salon. Experienced stylists who have not managed a salon before may be considered, with the general management team offering guidance to help them grow into the role. The position includes leading salon service and operations, supporting and developing the team, and partnering with ownership on goals and community outreach. Compensation includes wages, tips, and commission; the effective hourly wage may be $30–$60 or more, and motivated managers may earn more than $80,000 per year. The salon also offers loyal clients and daily one-on-one coaching from experienced leadership.
Requirements
- Active cosmetology or barber license, or reciprocal license.
- Leadership experience, including experience in another industry.
- Love of hair trends and creative artistry.
- Positive, growth-oriented mindset and passion for mentoring.
Responsibilities
