About The Position

SmartStyle Puyallup is hiring an Assistant Salon Manager to partner with the salon manager, support the salon team, and provide excellent client care. The role offers coaching from the salon manager and leadership team, with opportunities to develop leadership skills and advance. The salon is full-service and serves loyal clients, offering services from quick cuts to complex color.

Requirements

• Hold an active cosmetology or barber license, or a reciprocal license.
• Have a love for hair trends and great artistry.
• Bring a positive, team-first attitude.
• Be motivated to learn and grow into leadership.

Responsibilities

• Help the salon manager lead and motivate the team.
• Mentor stylists and lead by example.
• Provide every client with a welcoming, high-quality experience.
• Assist with daily operations, inventory, and team goals.
• Keep the salon clean and compliant.
