About The Position
SmartStyle Shelton is building a salon management team of motivated stylists who collaborate, support one another, and develop their careers together. Previous management experience is not required; the company offers training to help the right candidate grow into a salon leadership role. The position combines hairstyling with developing leadership skills in a busy, full-service salon. The team works with ownership on goals, daily operations, and the salon’s local reputation.
Requirements
- An active cosmetology or barber license, or a reciprocal license.
- A love for hair trends and artistry.
- A collaborative spirit and eagerness to learn.
Nice To Haves
- Leadership experience is a plus but is not required; training is provided.
Responsibilities
- Create a welcoming salon and provide top-notch service.
- Boost morale and lead by example.
- Learn to train and mentor stylists.
