About The Position
SmartStyle in Chehalis is forming a salon management team of motivated stylists who collaborate, support one another, and develop into leaders together. Management experience is not required; the company provides training to help stylists grow as leaders and pursue their career goals. The role combines hairstyling with team leadership and salon operations. Team members help create a welcoming client experience, maintain a positive team environment, coach and mentor stylists, and partner with ownership on goals, daily operations, and community outreach. The salon is described as busy and full-service, offering services from quick cuts to complex color. Compensation may include wages, tips, and commissions, with an effective hourly wage of $22–$45 or more and potential leadership earnings of upwards of $80,000 per year. Requirements
- Active cosmetology or barber license, or a reciprocal license.
- Passion for hair and creative work.
