About The Position
Palm Beach Tan is seeking a passionate, hard-working Salon Director/Store Manager to represent its nationwide brand. The role leads salon operations and a team of Beauty Consultants in a vibrant, professional, team-oriented environment. The Salon Director works toward sales goals, supports customers with skin care, tanning, and beauty product consultations, and ensures the salon is clean, organized, and compliant with company and legal requirements. Responsibilities also include hiring and training staff, tracking performance, and handling salon opening, closing, and cash procedures. The company offers base pay plus commission and bonus opportunities, training in customer service, sales, leadership, and goal setting, and opportunities for growth. Scheduling is flexible and availability must include nights and weekends. Full-time employees are offered medical and dental benefits, and the company notes 401(k) opportunities, including employer matching. Palm Beach Tan is closed on Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Year's.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Leadership or management experience.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to stand, bend, and walk for long periods of time, for 7 hours per day.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds without assistance.
- Reliable transportation.
- Flexible availability, including nights and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Meet sales goals measured daily, weekly, and monthly.
- Hire and train the team of Beauty Consultants.
- Provide ongoing team training.
- Consult with customers regarding skin care, tanning, and beauty products.
- Ensure company and legal policies, procedures, and requirements are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized salon.
- Handle cash and open and close the business.
- Track goals and performance metrics.
