About The Position

Unit Sales Associates are the sales force of the retail sales department. They handle customer transactions from start to finish while working to achieve department and personal goals. The role involves engaging with customers and employees throughout the day, communicating through phone and computer, and using CRM to support successful outcomes for the team. Associates are expected to work scheduled store hours, including weekends, and maintain the department.

Requirements

Two years of related experience and/or training.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents and make effective, persuasive speeches and presentations to clients.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Must obtain a motorcycle license within 90 days of employment.
Regular attendance during scheduled store hours, including weekends; ability to work 9 or more hours per day.
Ability to work in a high-stress environment and under tight deadlines, including longer or later hours as needed.
Ability to continually engage and interact with others throughout the workday using phone and computer.
Occasional ability to lift up to 35 pounds and push objects weighing over 100 pounds.
People skills, no call reluctance, and strong outbound phone skills.
Enjoy overcoming objections and closing deals; energized by interacting with new people.
Goal-driven, coachable, competitive, and adaptable.

Responsibilities

Handle customer transactions from start to finish.
Work toward department and personal sales goals.
Communicate with customers and team members and use CRM to support team success.
Greet customers, complete the department walk, complete inventory, and maintain the department.
Present information persuasively to clients.
