About The Position

Land Rover Roaring Fork is seeking a Sales Professional to join their team. This role is responsible for selling vehicles and meeting dealership gross profit, volume, and customer satisfaction standards. The position involves personal work habits, prospecting, selling, and follow-up activities. Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the USA.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and maintain a good driving record.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment testing, including background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver's license verification.

Nice To Haves

  • At least 2-5 years of luxury dealership sales experience.
  • Experience with the Land Rover brand and/or luxury vehicles.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to sell a minimum quota according to dealership standards.
  • Sales experience and excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships across all levels of the dealership.

Responsibilities

  • Determine each customer’s vehicle needs by asking questions and listening.
  • Demonstrate vehicles, including test drives.
  • Deliver vehicles to customers, ensuring they understand operating features, warranty, and paperwork.
  • Establish personal income goals consistent with dealership standards and devise a strategy to meet them.
  • Report to the vehicle Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses.
  • Stay informed about incoming inventory, features, and accessories and how they benefit customers.
  • Collaborate with the service department and body shop to ensure timely vehicle reconditioning.
  • Attend sales meetings and training provided by the dealership and manufacturer.
  • Maintain a prospect development system.
  • Maintain an owner follow-up system to encourage repeat and referral business.
  • Review and analyze daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly actions to improve time utilization and planning.
  • Understand automotive industry terminology and technological changes in products.
  • Understand and explain vehicle equity, values, and depreciation to customers.
  • Understand and adhere to federal, state, and local laws governing retail auto sales.
  • Introduce customers to service department personnel to highlight the quality and efficiency of services.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures and report any accidents immediately.
