Salesforce Sr. Solution Architect (Remote)
About The Position
Orion Global Solutions is seeking an experienced Salesforce Sr. Solution Architect to design and implement scalable, high-performance Salesforce solutions aligned with client business objectives. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective Salesforce solutions. The architect leads requirements gathering and solution decisions, documents business and system needs, and supports deployments across sandbox and production environments. The position also involves staying current with Salesforce releases, product roadmaps, and third-party applications on the Salesforce AppExchange.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a Salesforce Sr. Solution Architect, including end-to-end implementations from scratch.
- Salesforce integration experience, including integrations between business systems and use of integration tools.
- Advanced Salesforce configuration, process automation, and implementation experience following Salesforce best practices.
- Exceptional client-handling skills and ability to work with all levels within client organizations.
- Proven experience overseeing the direction, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions.
- Project management skills and exposure to project-based work structures.
- Thorough understanding of SDLC methodologies, including Agile.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of the capabilities and limitations of declarative configuration and when to use Apex and Visualforce.
- Salesforce certifications are required, and candidates should be open to obtaining certifications.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Lead requirements-gathering sessions and proactively elicit requirements from stakeholders.
- Define the system landscape, identify gaps between current and desired end states, and deliver a Salesforce solution.
- Create requirements documentation, including use cases and functional specifications, to capture and validate business needs with customers and project stakeholders.
- Create workflow diagrams documenting current and future business environments.
- Develop wireframes to ensure clients clearly understand proposed user interfaces.
- Communicate between business, technology, and QA teams, and facilitate resolution of user issues.
- Lead the functional team in selecting the best implementation approach, including declarative configuration, programmatic development, or AppExchange solutions.
- Lead hands-on solution deployments across sandbox and production orgs.
- Stay current on Salesforce releases, features, product roadmaps, and third-party applications available through AppExchange.
