About The Position

Delta Faucet Company is seeking a Salesforce Solution Architect to serve as the design authority for its Salesforce ecosystem within the Channel, Experience & Portfolio function of IT. This is a customer-side architecture role that partners closely with business leaders to shape the platform roadmap, own its long-term evolution, and guide its direction beyond individual project implementations. The Salesforce environment supports B2B, B2C, and B2B2C businesses, including wholesale distributors, trade professionals, retail partners, e-commerce, and direct consumer service. It includes Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, and CPQ/Revenue Cloud, integrated with ERP, PIM/DAM, and analytics platforms. The architect serves as a trusted advisor to business partners, sets architectural direction, and holds internal and third-party delivery teams accountable to that direction. The role owns end-to-end solution design, multi-year roadmap development, stakeholder engagement, technical guidance, vendor governance, architecture documentation, standards, and evaluation of emerging capabilities. It leads design reviews rather than performing hands-on builds, though prototypes and proofs of concept may be built personally or directed through the team. The architect is expected to protect long-term platform integrity, minimize technical debt and rework, and align solutions with business goals, enterprise architecture standards, and privacy and governance requirements. Delta Faucet Company is one of the largest and most recognized kitchen and bath plumbing fixture brands and is part of Masco Corporation. Its Salesforce footprint is expanding across sales, marketing, and customer service, with a funded multi-year investment roadmap. The position has design authority from day one and a direct line to IT and business leadership.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years working with the Salesforce platform.
  • At least 2 years as the accountable architect on at least two full-lifecycle, multi-cloud implementations.
  • Demonstrated design ownership across at least three of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, and CPQ/Revenue Cloud.
  • Deep knowledge of data modeling, security and sharing architecture, declarative automation strategy, Lightning Experience, and integration patterns, including REST/SOAP, event-driven integration, and middleware.
  • Sufficient technical depth in cross-cloud integration, Apex, LWC, and API development to review, challenge, and govern developers’ work; hands-on coding is not the primary function.
  • A track record of rejecting unnecessary customization and defending that position with business stakeholders and vendors.
  • Ability to design solutions aligned with long-term business goals and enterprise architecture standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical and executive audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Ability to execute responsibilities with limited oversight.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience as an in-house Salesforce architect at a customer organization, or consulting experience in a long-term client engagement.
  • B2B, B2C, or B2B2C commerce experience with distributor, dealer, or trade-professional channel models.
  • Manufacturing or consumer products industry background.
  • Experience governing a systems integrator or managed-service partner, including reviewing SOW-driven deliverables.
  • Practical exposure to generative or agentic AI on the Salesforce platform, including Agentforce, Einstein, or Data Cloud-driven use cases; this is valued and can be developed on the job, but is not a screening requirement.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with ERP, PIM/DAM, or enterprise analytics platforms.
  • Architect-track certification, preferably Salesforce Certified Application Architect, System Architect, or B2B/B2C Solution Architect.
  • Commonly held certifications include Salesforce Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Platform Developer I; demonstrated design ownership outweighs credentials.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end solution design across multiple Salesforce Clouds, including object and data models, security and sharing, automation strategy, and integration patterns.
  • Translate business strategy into a multi-year platform architecture roadmap; recommend build, buy, or configure approaches and sequence capability delivery.
  • Advise Sales, Marketing, Customer Solutions, and channel partners; constructively challenge requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Guide internal and partner development teams on best practices, data modeling, automation, and API integration; lead design reviews rather than perform hands-on builds.
  • Oversee third-party delivery partners and systems integrators, validate proposed use of out-of-the-box functionality, and hold partners accountable to best practices, security protocols, and company standards.
  • Maintain architecture artifacts and decision records, and establish and enforce standards that minimize technical debt.
  • Evaluate new platform capabilities, including Data Cloud and generative or agentic AI such as Agentforce, and assess their value while protecting brand, privacy, and governance standards.
  • Use prototypes and proofs of concept, built personally or directed through the team, to de-risk significant design decisions.
  • Document the current-state Salesforce architecture, data model, and integration landscape; identify technical-debt risks and recommend remediation.
  • Serve as the design authority for Channel and Experience initiatives, reviewing significant internal and vendor-proposed design decisions.
  • Develop a published multi-year platform architecture roadmap aligned with enterprise architecture standards and seek measurable reductions in custom code and release rework.
